Congratulations to Carroll County, GA, for voting 7-0 to guarantee qualified veterans an interview for jobs with the county. This great initiative was spearheaded by Commissioner Kevin Jackson, whose son is currently serving in Afghanistan. I'm looking forward to seeing private businesses in the county following this example and netting themselves veteran talent that can help them grow their business.
